Hi! Meet today's card as i feature a globe on the card! Globe doesn't only mean geography but international and worldwide too, which is part of what we learn because whatever we apply doesn't only apply in the Singapore context but worldwide too!

Today is one of the cutest card I've got! And as promised, today has more colors offered. If you have seen the past 2 day's graduation card, you will know that the purple is the convocation gown color for SIM-RMIT. So for the other 2 colors you see here (red and yellow) is the colors offered for other faculty or university convocation gown. Just let me know what color it is (or send me a photo) and i will try to get a color closest to it. Example, NUS is Gold but i don't have gold cardstock so i am using yellow, which is really very pretty too!








Let's have a close up on the bookworm! The eyes are the moveable type which kinda reminds me of my eyes turning haywire when i do my projects for too long!


Close up of the wordings.... if you know abit of scrapbooking, these wordings are embossed with white embossing powder so they are really white and clear on the black background.

Not too sure if you are familiar with the magic school bus.. but this bus kinda looks like it! Anyway....... i remember always chasing for the bus when i have classes in the morning, or when i'm running late (which i am always late~)


So here is today's card for the graduation series. Very simple but it may bare a hidden meaning between you and your friends.

Just in case you are visiting this blog for the first time......... I am having my Convocation (SIM) in August and would love to extend this joy to everyone who has friends graduating too. Delighted and excited that i'm going to wear my convocation gown in August and have 100s of photos taken with awesome friends on that day! Hence, in conjunction with my upcoming Convocation (SIM) in August, MLcraft will be releasing 7 designs of graduation cards (4.25"x2.75") this week.

So for card no.1, there's an apple on the left and a stack of books (that we dread so much) on the right. All the images are watercolored and cut out using my sharp scissors!

This small card is an A6 folded into half and will be suitable to be placed with a stalk of sunflower or a bouquet of flowers or even with a bear! If you want, i can always punch a hole and attach a string to it so you can tie it with any present you have. If there is no flowers or bear or presents...... fret not, a simple written message in it will remind the graduate how awesome of a friend you are!

And yeap, that purple is the color of the SIM-RMIT convocation gown!
