Preview Screening: The Proposal

Won, collected and watched The Proposal!

Knocked off exactly at 630pm and quickly ran to the MRT station to take a train down to Shaw Towers. The movie starts at 715pm and the collection of tickets ends at 710pm. On top of all this, i had to go against the knock off crowd!

Although it was free seating and i was the last few to enter, but thank God the cinema was small, about 100pax. so i still manage to get a seat at the last row, yet i don't feel too far away from the screen.

I was very impressed with the show and i think you readers should catch it! Its out in the cinema already and i seriously think Ryan Reynolds is SOoooooo cute. haha.. And the storyline kinda reminds me of the Taiwan Drama - Ming Zhong Zhu Ding Wo Ai Ni (Fated to love).

It's amazing how the whole cinema laugh together and at the same time, not being afraid for being too loud. Which was so nice and family-like-feeling. I hope to have more movies with Nuffnang!

Shall not say much about the show cause i don't wanna spoil such a good show.

Hi everyone! Its been a long time since i last watched a movie with Nuffnang and i am desperately wanting to get another movie chance with them for "The Proposal"! I only wanna win the nice movies, ok?

Love Sandra Bullock ever since she acted in Miss Congeniality 1 & 2. Her movies are always filled with so many laughters and her characters are always the WILD WILD women-type. haha.. somewhat like me - so violent. And again in The Proposal, she portrays as a very always-in-control city girl.

Want to watch this to find out what happens during the process of going into the marriage. Will they really fall in love? What other funny stuffs will happen other than what was shown on the trailers? I wonder what were the conditions led?

Hmmmmmm... If i get the tickets, i will find out already lo!

i LOVE my apple!

After countless of projects and meetings coming up recently, i finally got my own piece of time to blog this entry out! Although i am so so so so so busy, i am still doing this cause i want to replace my current ipod nano to a IPOD TOUCH.

Hmm.. it's not a recently "thing" that i have been thinking about but since the day i got to play with J's Ipod Touch! LOL. I seriously love it and the only reason that's stopping me from buying is because i can't afford it. =(


Anyway, all i have to do now is to declare my love for APPLE. That's simple, cause i seriously love Apple products.



If you guys still remember, i bought my MacBook during April to replace my old DELL laptop. And it was definitely a good change.

I mean, who says only designing students can buy APPLE laptops? Seriously don't like it when my school technicians or teacher ask "Why you business student need a MacBook? can use mehs?"

Come on! MacBook is for everyone! If you're afraid you can't open word documents? Fret not, theres the latest Microsoft 2008 office for Mac! That's something like Microsoft 2007 that you guys have.
With Macintosh, you don't have to worry that a Virus is going to attack your computer. Everything is safer even without the use of Anti-Virus softwares.



I don't have a desktop thus a durable and reliable laptop is needed badly!


There were many reasons why i decided to change to a Macintosh.. One of which was the SIZE factor.


About the size of an A4 just wider abit.


and thin enough to fit into my bag.

HOLD ON. I know there many other laptops in the market that are smaller and thinner and probably WHITE as well. But there is more to Macintosh!

Just in case you don't know, my brother uses MacBook PRO, so i got to fiddle with the functions before getting one myself. tsk tsk.



The LONG LASTING battery life. I totally love this factor because until now, i don't remember myself bring my adapter to school for projects anymore! It saves my time now and the wire for the adapter is actually quite hassle free.


The built in camera allows me to skype now!


Cam-whore before i head out for shopping!


Create funky pictures!


Different effects built in!




They have cute background effects too!


"SPOTLIGHT" is actually like a "find" function but this is faster and easier to use. There is practically no need for a wait, when you find your documents.


"FRONT ROW" is a very cool software that Mac has. It allows you to watch movies, listen to music and view photographs.


But i always use Front Row to view movie previews! LOL. A good way to decide what movie to watch. No more digging for previews online, its all here!

Yes! Mac's Remote Control!
It doesn't work on battery but on infra. And now, i like presenting with my MacBook, because its more professional and much more convenient. =)


This "split-screen" thing allows you to see all windows that are open. A good way to switch between windows when you have numerous opened. It Splits out fast and goes to the next window fast too!

There are other functions for Mac as well, such as EXPOSE (the functions set on the corners of the screen) and SPACES (the function that allows up to 16 different desktop screens).
SPACES are useful when you don't like so many window applications running on one desktop screen.

Eh.. Don't understand? GET A MACBOOK AND TRY! fun fun fun!




This button is the HEART AND SOUL of the MacBook. Works like a CTR key but it has more uses than it.


Other shortcut buttons that helps using the laptop easier and cooler.





Slightly tempted to get a MacBook already???

nang it!

I woke up super late on Vesak day and i scrambled into the toilet! J sms-ed me if was outta house at 2pm (suppose to meet him at 2.30) but i only woke up then! Faster told him that i will be late and he had the permission to leave the house later.

Faster bath, get dressed, make up and BOOK A CAB!

Left the house at 2.30 and got to bugis at 3pm. It was a good thing J got to drive out.

I walked the wrong way and went to the ticket booth downstairs, but when i ask the lady, they said nuffnang was upstairs! o.O faster went up and collected the tickets. Felt so hungry, decided to QUEUE the very very LONG queue of food. And after about 2mins, i then realized it was "FREE SEATING". J insisted that we should get food first. So i just had to continue to wait.

When we went in, the cinema wasnt great cause it wasnt those elevator type. But it was indeed big. Sat down and saw Xiaxue and Mike. Haha, Mike is really good looking.


Anyway, caught Narnia, with special thanks to NUFFNANG.

This part has more humor injected, not those that will make you break out into huge laughter but those that will make you smile and laugh a second. There were a few touching parts but the fighting scenes wasn't as furious as what i thought. Haha, i was prolly looking for some LOTR fighting scene? =x There was one part of me being unhappy with the cinema seat. It "crank" and wasnt that comfortable to be in. We were considered in the middle of the cinema already, but the view wasn't all that fantastic.

Personally, i still prefer the first part. Anyway, i still enjoyed the movie and would recommend you guys to catch it when its out on the 29 MAY 2008 =)

I want Prince Caspian

Let me see... I'm not too sure how to do this. And it's my first time doing this... BUT YAH, i'm dying to watch Prince Caspian.


And since Nuffnang is giving away free tickets for the exclusive screening of The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, i think......... I'm really just going to give it a try!

Firstly, its Vesak Day on monday and i really want to watch a movie with boyfriend. So all the more, these pair of tickets is attractive! (not forgetting, tickets are now freaking 10 bucks each!!)


The production of Prince Caspian had been held for so long. The year after catching The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, news have been speculating that the next story will be out soon, but i waited for more than a year plus lar!


Starring Ben Barnes as Prince Caspian, he will be joining the 4 other children. Gosh, he's hot. HAHA! opps. But yea, i think he's quite good looking leh!
The amazing part from the first story was the children's acting. They were convincing and it was such a fantasy.


Not forgetting the majestic lion that saved them. I really wish to see the lion once again and of course, i'm wondering what heroic act will it be doing once again? o.O
