Ewe Are Awesome!

Welcome to my cosy little blog! I hope you have just hopped from Joyce's blog (Hawaii) to my blog (Singapore)! If you got lost halfway, fret not, just read through this post and you will see the hop order at the very bottom! I am so proud to see GSD expand from a digital stamp store to a clear stamp store. And the stamp just keeps getting better with great quality stamp too! When I received the stamp set, there was a personalized note. She remembered that i love SHEEPS! Yes yes.. EWE will not be able to resist the CUTENESS!



I was inspired to create a "College" style of card to try to fit as many of the clear stamp in as possible. When i stamped the chicks on the left, it happened to have 7 and half of them. The number 7 calls for RAINBOW coloring! haha! The half chick at the bottom got to have more of a pink purple tone. The sheeps are colored using Grey tone markers (Neutrals). I used the dotting technique (basically dotting randomly all the way) to create the wool-like texture.

All backgrounds are sponged using distress inks. I used Spun Sugar, Squeezed Lemonade, Wild Honey, Tumbled Glass and Shabby Shutters. I used Copic as my choice of coloring medium and smooth cardstock for stamp. Cloud die cut by Memory Box.

Gerda Steiner Designs Bloghop #1

Hello everyone! Madey here! You should have arrived from Jess's blog. If you didn't, don't worry.... just read on and remember to click on Gerda Steiner Designs blog and Jess blog listed below!

Gerda has been very hardworking, drawing all these cute critters for us to color. Her latest new rubber stamp set "Smells Like Christmas" was mailed to me, but i live halfway across the globe, so it hasn't reached me and i hope it hasn't gotten lost! *prays* So Gerda sent me some of the digital stamps instead and my itchy finger's just had to re-size them! HAHA...

Even though the digital stamps are currently unavailable to you, i believe if you REALLY love it...... and if you CRYYYY out for your demand, i believe Gerda will do something about it! hahaha.. just saying~


I removed the mug and left the "steam" on it. Made sure the little mice looks like it is smelling the cookies because chocolate chip cookies are awesome during christmas!! You can also download other critters in the store to create the same scene.

I used some of my old patterned papers from Lawn Fawn and Doodlebug from their last year's collection to layer behind. Christmas pattern papers will never go out of style!

To make sure that the furballs on the christmas hat looks sparkly, i STRONGLY recommend using Ranger's Diamond or Icicle Stickles. They have texture and reflects light in white and blue shades.
