Upcoming Holidays

I loveeeee Dolphins! And i look forward to seeing this view for my upcoming company trip in October. YES, my company is having a holiday trip to PERTH and i am so excited to see the kangaroos and dolphins.

Other than the upcoming PERTH trip, i've also booked my FIRST BANGKOK trip this coming December. And yes, i call this my first because the last time i went BKK was when i was 4 years old, which i can only remember vivid images from it.

I guess this year is full of travelling and fun, yet a very damaging "pocket" year. So let me know if you guys have side-job lobangs or have crafting deals for me to leech.

Anyway, crafting got to put on hold for awhile because i have taken up jobs for the 2 upcoming weekends and i ran out of tapes for my ATG!! *Nightmare* PLUS, MTH change their operating hours, so i can only head down on weekends to get them. SO SAD!

Sync Mr.Iphone 3Gs

Urber Happy, super happy! After a month of waiting, i finally got my hands on Iphone 3Gs. Singtel was kind enough to provide delivery service and i had them sent to my office on Friday! Immediately sync all the nice games and good music into the iphone and now i am so addicted to the game - Fish Tycoon. LOL.

I think alot of people know i got my iphone liao cause i spammed on facebook and twitter. hehe.. LOVE LOVE.


Other random things to mention would be........

DA VINCI EXHIBIT @ science centre

He is a real genius - from drawing to inventions to music - he is one hell of a smart ass.

Caught it on the last day of the exhibition and with no regrets - though ticketing price was a a little expensive but nonetheless, it attracted alot of people to visit the exhibit. Got to read about the Facts of Mona Lisa, The Last Supper and the Golden Proportion of Human.

It was so interesting to find out that The Last Supper was painted on the wall above the door. That's why the bottom of the painting, which is also the bottom of the table in the drawing, has a curve. Because it is a door.


And then people with the golden proportion will look prettier. The videos i watched there made me finally understand what this picture means!

Anyway, go google it! Its really interesting.

I manage to find a 4 leaf clover among the MANY MANY 3 leaf clovers during my trip in Yunnan.

The tour guide say that its 幸运草 meaning lucky leaf.

So i am hoping i will really hit this luck and be happy because i found 2!

Little update

Heavily relying on the application "Iphoto", i have found myself being lazy in updating photos because i can just chunk them in Iphoto and not worry it will take up alot of the spaces in my hard disk. =/

Feels like something is lacking in my life....... i want so much..... and it all goes down to earning more money. Yet, i just want to lie back in my bed and stare into my ceiling.


Some photos i got out. I went to Zhouzhuang, which was a water village like Venice. And it was really pretty. Although there were so many similar bridges, but the view is something you don't get in singapore. It is a 2hr bus ride out of Shanghai. Went there with Isaac, so the photos turn out to be all so pretty. =D

Counting down

I am counting down to a number of things.

And the first on the list would be the submission of final report this friday at 5pm. Submit and i will be as free as a bird already!

I have about a month left before i head back to SG and i have to admit that this 6months here have broaden my VIEWS. Misses to all my friends especially yingxuan because i always laugh or smile when i read her blog.

Suzhou

After waiting for so long, i am back to tell you guys where i went to play during one of my weekends.


The clique took a train down to Suzhou on a friday night and we experienced the AUTHENTIC smell. As in.... the really smelly type. =X






When we got to Suzhou, 4 other OIAP np students were already waiting for us there. Hopped onto the cab and took a ride to a KTV place.

Clash at Amy's place for the night and it was super cold in the night! The temperature that weekend dropped to ZERO degrees and we were freezing in the day and in the night.

Went into this place that states that it is boat rides for kids. But we didn't care and the 6 by 6 we took the boat and went through the tunnel hoping to see something fun and cute.


But hell no, it turned out to be freaky!

All of them took many spiny spiny ones, while i gave all of them a miss.. I am still not daring enough. And at the end of the day, i spent the least at the amusement park. hoho!














For the night activity, we went to chill and had shao kao for supper. Oh man, i kinda love shao kao now. LOL.









Next morning, the girls brought us to do a little shopping and i swear it is so nice and cheap over there as compared to Shanghai. haha! Didn't get alot because i will head there with Sheryl another time when the season start changing. Now everywhere also winter clothings. I have enough already. =)

Took the express train back home on sunday night.

I think i will choose express train in future. Pay 10RMB more and you enjoy a more comfortable ride with a faster trip! No authentic smell and the feeling is like taking a airplane because the staff wears a uniform and they wil state how fast they are travelling and what time you would be reaching. Most of the time, it is accurate.
